Date: 23.04.2020
Hexagon Visualization has developed several XR prototypes. Some of these are still available for testing and demonstration to internal entities.
This page contains descriptions and information on each of them.
XR is defined as the sum of VR, AR and MR. Wikipedia has more details.
Contact us directly at post @myvr-software.com with a description of use for further information and access to the actual prototypes and their assets that are linked to on this page.
Please note that if you are not a Hexagon entity you must reach out to your Hexagon supplier or partner for more information.
In addition to these binary demos, Hexagon entities may also gain access to the source code of both the prototypes and the mMap SDK.
Each of the prototypes are based on the Hexagon Visualization SDK for visualization of content. Device position tracking is performed by either on-platform frameworks such as ARCore or third party libraries such as Vuforia.
